Our office employs law clerks, who are current law students, typically from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law, located three blocks from our firm. While with our firm law clerks benefit from hands on experience, which includes such things as drafting pleadings, preparing legal research or traveling to various courts to file papers.

Our law clerks are also responsible for some client development issues, such as conducting initial client phone interviews. Our attorneys respect their opinion and rely on them to provide useful feedback on potential cases. As a small firm, law clerks work closely with attorneys and learn a variety of skills and knowledge for practicing law "in the real world".
