We are pleased to announce that our associate, Stacy A. Johnson was recently honored by the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association (DMBA) with the prestigious Barrister of the Year Award.  This Award is presented annually to a member of the Barristers Board who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in the development and execution of Barristers’ programming.

Barrister of the Year

• Co-chair of the 2013-14 Barristers Section Social Committee, leading the planning and implementation of key Section outreach activities such as “Bar Review” networking events and the Pins’n’Pinstripes Bowling event.
• Served as the Section Liaison to the University Of Detroit Mercy School Of Law, coordinating mock interviews and on-campus presentations to help students prepare for the transition from study to practice.
• As a volunteer, provided support for Barristers, DMBA and DMBA Foundation programming throughout the year, encouraging her friends and colleagues to do the same.
